ERA Re-Introduces the White Pin Internship Program
The ERA White Pin Group has recognized the need of the rep community to help attract, hire and retain college graduates into the rep model to keep the electronics industry fresh and relevant.
This intern program is designed to offer rising college juniors or seniors an opportunity to work for a manufacturers’ representative firm over the summer months (typically 8-10 weeks) to gain a better understanding of and hands-on experience in the electronic components industry. ERA plans to support and subsidize these internships along the way.
How to apply:
-
Rep companies who are interested in the program are encouraged to contact local college and university placement offices, and work with ERA to create and promote an intern job posting. Rep companies need to submit an application to qualify for the subsidy.
-
Interested students can apply here.
For more information about the White Pin Intern Program including training guidelines and resources, and to apply, visit the White Pin Internship section of the ERA website.
Please email info@era.org with questions and they will be forwarded on to Kingsland Coombs, CPMR, chair of the White Pin Group, and Ellen Coan, CPMR, SVP of Education for ERA.
