March 23, 2020 -  Sunshine ERA is pleased to announce the annual DTAM presentation will be May 18, 2020 at Dubsdread Country Club. There will be a cash bar and heavy Hors Devours from 5PM. Our meeting will begin appx 6PM. We look forward to our entire electronics community joining for this annaul event. Lisa Dietrich once again has done a great job putting this together.

Sunshine ERA also held their elections, congratulations to the following:

Sunshine ERA would also like to announce we will be giving a $1,500 scholarship for a member of Sunshine Chapter to attend the National Conference in Austin TX. The annual conference and training is typically in February. The scholarship will be named the "SUNSHINE ERA CHUCK MATHIAS EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP.

Lastly, we will host our Charity Golf Tournament again this year on October 8th, 2020. Stay tuned for more details. If you would like to volunteer and raffle prizes we would be grateful.

February 25, 2020 - Sunshine ERA was pleased to accept the award for Chapter of the Year for our First Annual Charity Golf tournament at this years Annual Conference. We want to thank all who participated and helped us organize this great event. Special recognition goes to Greg Thompson of the Carolinas Chapter who not only gave us insight on how to run this but attended our event as well! Thank you Greg Thompson of South Atlantic Component Sales!

Florida-Sunshine ERA organized its first annual golf tournament and charity event at the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs. The event also celebrated the chapter’s 65 years of service to the electronics industry. The purpose of the charity fundraiser was to establish a foundation that will benefit those in need in the electronics industry. This year’s benefactor was Just Our Soldiers Helpers. We were pleased to give over $3000 dollars to this wonderful cause, thank you Dennis Hewitt for bringing us this wonderful charity organization.
